For the first time at Rahma Hospital in Idlib, Rahma Worldwide has launched early breast cancer screening services by equipping the hospital with a modern and advanced mammogram machine. This device, dedicated to breast cancer detection, is considered a lifesaver for thousands of people whose lives were at risk due to the lack of early diagnostic tools in the region. The organization ensured the installation of the machine, the preparation of a dedicated section for it, and its full activation to begin providing services immediately.
This step fills a major gap in the diagnostic healthcare system, as the machine contributes to increasing early detection rates, thereby enhancing chances of recovery and significantly reducing mortality rates resulting from late-stage diagnosis.
